Thanh Hoa has over 100 km of the bow back coastline and 23.000 km2 of the large territorial waters area, was under the influence of the hot and cold sea currents. It constituted the fishing and shrimp grounds with large reserves. There are five main bays belong the coastline such as: Lach Sung, Lach Truong, Lach Hoi, Lach bang, Lach Ghep. They’re favorable for fishing-ships to travel. And this is the center of province’s fishery. The mud and sand alluvial grounds is in the bay area. This mud and sand alluvial grounds is thousands ha of area for sea product, to grow sedge, wave – block plants and for salt production. Garrupa, pearl oyster, lobster can be breed in the area of the sea water and sea water of inshore is for breeding of mollusks (oyster, arc...).
